Joe Valacich Receives AIS LEO Award

Joe Valacich, Munsinger Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, was named a 2022 winner of the LEO Award.

The award is the Association for Information Systems’ highest honor for lifetime achievement. Created in 1999 by the AIS Council and the International Conference on Information Systems Executive Committee, it is a singular honor to recognize seminal work by the award recipient.

Valacich was presented with the award at the 2022 ICIS Conference in Copenhagen.

A prolific scholar, Valacich has multiple issued and pending patents, more than 30,000 citations and an H-index of 79. In addition to his role at the Eller College of Management, he is co-founder, chairman, and chief science office of Neuro-ID, Inc.
