Eller College Undergraduate Students Named 2024-25 PNC Achievers

The Eller College of Management partners with PNC Bank on their student recognition program PNC Achievers.
This program highlights the accomplishments of students who demonstrate academic, civic and peer leadership in the community and the classroom. PNC Achievers is currently active at more than 20 other schools including Princeton, Rutgers, University of Alabama, Bradley University and more.
The Eller College has recognized four undergraduate students as PNC Achievers for the 2024-2025 academic year:

Gavin Haldorsen
Gavin Haldorsen is a dedicated Southern Arizona native with a strong academic background. Raised in Vail, Arizona, he graduated with high honors from Salpointe Catholic High School. Currently, he’s on track to graduate a year early with a major in Business Economics and has plans to attend law school. Outside of his studies, Gavin is actively involved in Eller’s business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in the Tucson community, and playing basketball. His diverse interests reflect a commitment to both personal and professional growth.

Zakaria Odr
Zakaria Odr is a Junior at the Eller College of Management studying finance. He was born and raised locally here in Tucson, Arizona. He enjoys remaining very involved on campus by serving as the Vice President of the Eller Leadership Board, Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi, and providing tours to prospective Eller students through our ambassadors program. He has experience working as an accounting preceptor for the accounting department and as an intern in New York City this past summer at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate and Investment Bank division. In his free time he loves to hike Tucson's many surrounding mountains and also frequently travels to snowboard.

Serena Staats
Serena Staats is currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. She is majoring in Economics and minoring in Sustainable Mineral Resources with an emphasis in economics and business. She hopes to apply her education for a career in risk management. She likes to be involved within the University and my community, and one way I do this is by volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. Outside of school, she loves to write stories and go skiing. She also loves to travel and gain new experiences. Although originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, she has moved around quite a bit growing up and is very grateful for the opportunities living in different places has brought her.
Innan Montano-Lagarda
The program highlights the importance PNC Bank places on education, leadership and community service, and positions the bank as an advocate for students throughout their college journey and beyond.
“We are delighted to partner with PNC on their PNC Achievers program,” says Karthik Kannan, dean and Halle Chair in Leadership. “This is a great opportunity for us to recognize the fantastic accomplishments of selected Eller students both in the classroom and the community.”
Haldorsen, Montano-Lagarda, Odr, and Staats were recognized as PNC Achievers at the 2024 Eller Economic Outlook Luncheon on December 12, 2024 at the Westin La Paloma Resort.
