In her role of managing a physical therapy clinic, Kerilyn Graham ‘23 MBA had proven her confidence and credibility within the field. Yet, she still wanted a deeper understanding of the subject to make an even more significant impact.

This drive led Graham to embark on her MBA journey at the Eller College of Management.

Prior to starting the Online MBA program, Graham was initially hesitant about core subjects like accounting but quickly realized how vital they were for her professional growth and found herself excelling in them. "By the end of the courses, I felt I held much more confidence for participating in conversations and making decisions related to accounting,” she says.

Graham’s time in the MBA program spurred significant personal and professional development, offering her growth in her professional endeavors. Throughout her time in the program, Graham went from being staff physical therapist to vice president of operations. “I was promoted seven times and wound up supervising 40 locations,” she says. In just four years, her career trajectory underwent a remarkable transformation, propelled by the knowledge and skills acquired through her MBA studies. 

Graham’s journey is a powerful reminder of the infinite possibilities that come with pursuing higher education. From clinician to vice president of operations, her story highlights the profound impact of seizing opportunities for growth and learning. 

"No time is the perfect time,” she says. “Keep moving forward at whatever pace you can to devote time and attention to learning the material, as it will pay off.”
