Application Requirements
A complete application consists of the following items, to be received by the noted admissions deadline:
- A completed application form (apply online)
- Application fee (WAIVED for a limited time)
- A statement of purpose
- A professional resume
- Three professional recommendations
- Unofficial transcripts** from each university, college, or community college attended
- GMAT/GRE is WAIVED for a limited time.
* To ensure seamless processing, applications are considered complete only when all materials are submitted AND reference responses are received.
**We will accept unofficial versions of your school documents for initial evaluation purposes only; this does not eliminate the need for official school documents to be submitted. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent by and received by an institution or university.
A copy of the grading scale or transcript key for each school transcript must be submitted for international documents. Refer to the UA Graduate College transcript requirements for more information.

Before You Begin
- Update your professional resume.
- Download your unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts (if applicable) available.
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA from a regionally accredited university or institution is required.
- Undergraduate transcript must show degree conferral.
- Add three references to take a survey, only one response is needed to start review process. —verify the correct spelling of names, titles and contact information, including email address.
Writing your Statement of Purpose:
Organize your statement as a cohesive essay with a clear narrative and smooth transitions between sections. Your statement should include the following components:
- Introduction – Introduce yourself and provide context for your interest in graduate study.
- Why You Are Applying – Explain your motivation for pursuing the Eller Online MBA and why you selected this program.
- Leadership Experience – Describe your leadership experiences, including how you have influenced others, led initiatives, solved challenges, or contributed to your organization or community. Discuss how these experiences have prepared you for graduate study and future leadership roles.
- Why You Are a Strong Candidate – Highlight your professional experiences, accomplishments, and personal qualities that will contribute to your success in the program.
- Future Goals – Describe your short- and long-term career goals and explain how the Eller Online MBA will help you achieve them.
Conclusion – Summarize your key points and reaffirm your enthusiasm for joining the program.

Completing Your Application

| 1 | Apply Online from the Eller MBA website and create an account. |
| 2 | Prepare answers to the essay questions. You may either type your responses directly into the text fields or upload the essay as a PDF. Essay should be no more than 500-750 words. |
| 3 | Prepare your recommender's information in order to fill out the recommendation form in the application. This will send the recommendation form to your recommender for completion. |
| 4 | Have the information you've gathered on hand and complete the biographical sections of the online application. |
| 5 | Upload your updated résumé and completed essays as PDF files to the online application. |
| 6 | GMAT/GRE is now WAIVED for a limited time! |
| 7 | TOEFL score (this is a proof of English proficiency requirement for international applicants born in a country where English is not the official language). Results should be sent to The University of Arizona Institution Code: 4832. Due to COVID-19, in addition to TOEFL and IELTS we will accept a CEPT score of 126 and a Pearson’s PTE score of 68 for English proficiency. |

International Students
The Eller College welcomes the cultural experience and knowledge that international applicants add to the program. The Online MBA is an ideal means for students from around the globe to earn their MBA. In addition to the materials listed in the Application Requirements, international applicants are required to submit the following:
- TOEFL score (this is a proof of English proficiency requirement for international applicants born in a country where English is not the official language). Results should be sent to The University of Arizona Institution Code: 4832
- One copy of official transcripts and one official copy of diploma(s) and/or degree certification both in the native language and in English*
