Pam Perry Discusses Eller Undergraduate Program's No. 3 Ranking for Minority Enrollment in Chamber Business News

Pam Perry, associate dean of undergraduate programs in the Eller College of Management, was recently quoted in a Chamber Business News article on the Eller College’s number three ranking for minority enrollment by Poets&Quants.

Perry detailed initiatives at Eller like LEAD (Leadership, Academic Success and Professional Development), the Business Careers Awareness Program and DigiDudes and TechDivas as models for reaching minority popluations.

“Diversity is really important because as national data demonstrates, innovations and solutions are improved with diversity,” Perry says in the article. “When people come with very different ways of solving problems. It really does matter.”

Perry earned her PhD in higher education from the University of Arizona. In addition to her undergraduate role, Perry is responsible for Eller MBA academic and student services including professional development and placement. As a member of the Eller administration for 26 years, she reorganized the undergraduate curriculum into cohorts, improved academic advising services and has provided leadership that supports a philosophy for continuous improvement.
