What was the process for getting this internship/job?

I heard about this internship when GEICO HR employees came into Paul Melendez’s ethics class and they talked about the internship. Then, I applied!

What type of projects do you work on?

We work on all different types of projects that involve finding opportunities of improvement at GEICO. We examine different departments and find solutions including marketing tools and management tools.

What is your favorite part of the experience?

By far, THE PEOPLE! GEICO is an extremely great company to work for and I have loved getting to know all the employees here. There are also 15 interns which makes it fun getting to hang out together all summer!

What advice do you have for other students looking for similar experiences?

Seriously apply for this internship, probably single handedly the best decision I have made all of college was applying. There is so much personal and professional growth involved.

How has Eller prepared you for this experience?

Eller absolutely prepared me. I have felt so confident going into situations with all the knowledge Eller has given me about the professional/corporate world.
