The Center for Trust Studies (CTS) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona will host a Distinguished Speaker Seminar on October 21 at 9:00 a.m. Arizona Time.

The session will feature a presentation by Aks Zaheer, Professor and Curtis L. Carlson Chair in Strategic Management at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. The title of the presentation is “Prismatic Trust.” Registration is required (registration link below).

“Networks can be important sources of information about an actor's trustworthiness, especially in the absence of a direct tie to that actor,” says Oliver Schilke, professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “It is thus important to understand how network positions and networking behavior jointly shape trust formation.”

Supported by the National Science Foundation, CTS hosts a series of workshops on trust, develops teaching tools on trust, and gets students from a variety of diverse backgrounds actively engaged in trust research.
