Angel Jones

Dr. Angel J. Jones began his 25-year cybersecurity career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Coast Guard, investigating cybercrime. His expertise has made him the go-to subject matter expert for complex cybersecurity and cyber breach investigations. Dr. Jones' experience includes serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for several global firms, such as IBM and PwC, proactively protecting organizations from adversarial dynamic cyber threats. Dr. Jones is passionate about teaching the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. He has taught advanced AI and cybersecurity courses at several universities for over 10 years.

Dr. Jones is the author of several research articles in national journals in artificial intelligence, FinTech, and cybersecurity. Other scholars have cited his work several times, including being quoted by the Washington Post. Dr. Jones holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, a B.S. in Information Technology, and an M.S. in Information Systems.
