Accessing Financial Journals

Starting Out
The University of Arizona and the Finance Department subscribe to numerous scholarly journals in the fields of finance, economics, accounting, and related areas of study. If you are a professor or student looking for an electronic version of a published work but are unsure of where to find it, a good initial search is the following:

  1. Go to http://www.library.arizona.edu
  2. Click on "Show all E-Journals" at the top right hand side of the page.
  3. Click on "Electronic Journals A - Z"
  4. Type in the title of the journal that you are looking for.
  5. Depending on the date of the article you are looking for, if the library subscribes to the journal, it will provide you with links on where to find the article.

Google Search If you are unable to find the journal you are looking for here, one suggestion to find a paper is to do a Google search using quotation marks around the exact title of a paper that you are looking for. This will often turn up a copy of a paper that is otherwise hard to find! http://www.google.com
