Charles (Chip) Ruscher joined the Eller College of Management in 1992 after earning his PhD in Finance from the University of Arizona. In addition to teaching at Eller, he has also taught at James Madison University, Southern Methodist University, and Blue Ridge Community College. His industry experience includes working for American Brands, American Express Financial Services, First American Bank of Virginia, Ardext Technologies, Edward A. Dyl Consulting Services, and owning his own financial planning and consulting services companies. His areas of expertise include investment analysis and portfolio management, advanced financial management, international finance and financial markets, commercial banking, venture capital, and finance concepts.
