R. Mark Isaac

Professor Emeritus of Economics

Mark Isaac received his PhD from Caltech in 1981. He joined the University of Arizona as an assistant professor in 1980, advancing through the ranks to full professor, serving as chair 1991-98, staying until 2001. Since then he has been the John & Hallie Quinn Eminent Scholar and Professor of Economics at Florida State University, serving as chair 2012-2018. His research interests are primarily in experimental methods in such areas as public goods, law and economics, and industrial organization.
