Short Film Festival

McGuire Short Film Festival

Watch student teams from ENTR 485 Innovating: Creating the Future go head-to-head in a new kind of pitch competition where they will be judged on the short films that describe their ventures.

Come join us as we roll out the red carpet and put up the velvet ropes as the winning student teams from each of our ENTR 485 class sections compete to see whose short film is the best! The winning teams take home cash prizes, bragging rights, and an award named after the late Bob Lusch. Lusch served as the former executive director of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship and was a prolific researcher well known for his work in service-dominant logic, which rests on the notion that the basis of all economies is the exchange of service among humans.

About the Class

Students in ENTR 485 Innovating: Creating the Future, the entrepreneurship capstone course for Eller seniors, team up to build a venture. At the end of each semester, student teams pitch their ideas in class, and the top team from each section is invited to compete in the Short Film Festival, where they present their pitches in a short film format.
