What made you choose your major?

I chose accounting because I always loved math and I like the logic behind accounting. I also decided to major in MIS because I was a part of the Zipperman Scholars Program and thought it would pair well with accounting.

What type of professional experience have you had so far?

I interned this past summer with Eide Bailly in Phoenix. I was an audit intern and had the privilege of working with a variety of clients. I also went to Dublin, Ireland, with KPMG on their Global Advantage Program. I was able to learn leadership skills from the top partners in the firm.

How have you been involved on campus so far?

I was involved in ASA as an exam review coordinator. I helped lead the accounting 210 reviews and prepared the students before the exam. I am also involved in Beta Alpha Psi, where I was the VP of internal affairs and now president.

What has your involvement and professional experience taught you?

My involvement within Eller has taught me that it is important to give back to the organizations that help you get the professional opportunities and experiences. I'm so grateful for the professional achievements I've had and I want to be there for other students for guidance and encouragement to help them reach their goals.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After graduation I will be interning with KPMG in San Francisco for the summer. In the fall I will be attending Villanova University for the master’s of accounting with data and analytics program through KPMG. I will then work in Audit for KPMG after completing the master’s program.
