Caleb Warren, associate professor of marketing in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, was one of “marketing’s top minds” surveyed by the American Marketing Association (AMA) about marketing trends in 2020.
The AMA article published on December 13, 2019 asked for predictions on four “hot-button” topics in the field as part of its The Year Ahead 2020 special web issue: personalization, privacy, branding and content marketing.

Warren joined the Eller College in 2016 after previously working as an assistant professor of marketing at Texas A&M University and Bocconi University. His areas of expertise include humor, symbolic value and goal pursuit. Specifically, he studies consumer psychology and investigates consumer responses to behaviors that part from the norm.
