Eller College Launches New Graduate Programs to Address Industry 4.0: Economics and Healthcare Management
The Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona announces the launch of new specialized master’s programs directly addressing the needs of the 4th industrial revolution.
With four interlocking strands in econometrics, microeconomics theory, empirical microeconomics and experimental/behavioral economics, the STEM-designated Master of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics provides a foundation in analytical and empirical skills for practical economic analysis.
The fully online Master of Healthcare Management, with concentrations in healthcare leadership, healthcare innovation and healthcare informatics, helps physicians, healthcare administrators and future healthcare leaders develop the business skills that are essential for transforming the 21st century healthcare industry.
Both programs will accept their first cohorts for the fall 2018 semester.
“Our new graduate programs reflect Eller’s focus on preparing students to be competitive in the 21st century marketplace,” says Eller College Dean Paulo Goes. “The business world has fundamentally changed with the advent of the Internet of Things. These programs reflect this new reality and will give students the knowledge and skills they need to lead in this new economy.”
