Winners of SUAS Competition Announced

BORDERS is pleased to announce the winners of the Small Unmanned Aerial System (SUAS) Competition. Teams from Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M, St. Louis University, and Purdue were selected for funding based on a design proposal submitted in December. Each team will receive up to $30,000 to construct a functioning SUAS based on their design.  This award was sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology (S&T), and subject matter experts from S&T will visit each university at the end of the Spring semester to oversee test flights. Congratulations to Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M, St. Louis University, and Purdue for an outstanding effort!
