Two Eller Students Named in Poets&Quants’ “100 Best & Brightest Business Majors of 2021”
Every year, Poets&Quants recognizes 100 undergraduate seniors who stand out among their peers through their academic performance and excellence, exceptional leadership demonstrated in extracurricular activities, exhibited potential for future success and overall character. Among these 100, two Eller College of Management seniors were selected for the 2021 award: Giselle Enriquez Durazo ’21 BSBA (Marketing and MIS) and Brennen Feder ’21 BSBA (Management and Entrepreneurship).
Durazo, Eller Hispanic Honorary vice president of marketing, GoDaddy YouTube channel specialist intern, Zipperman Scholar and Eller Outstanding Scholar of 2019/2020, was awarded for her professionalism, creativity and reliability portrayed throughout the classroom and workplace. “What amazes me about Giselle is her consistency,” says Senior Lecturer of Business Communication Mikel Chertudi. “Day in and day out, she’s always excellent, always prepared, always willing to assist others and always kind. She represents the best of Eller.”
Feder has also been highly-involved on campus. From his role as presidential chief of staff of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona to working with the Eller Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, to serving as recruitment co-leader of Eller Make a Difference Day, Feder has made a significant impact at the Eller College of Management. Lecturer of Business Communication Aimee McFarland, says: “Brennen is smart, not only academically but emotionally, caring, hard-working, mature and incredibly driven…He sees the big picture, is wonderful at problem solving, and knows how to bring out the best in people.”
