Jeff Larson is a sixth-year Management and Organizations doctoral candidate.  He earned a BS in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University, a post-graduate certification in Accounting from Linfield University and a MBA from the University of Oregon.  Prior to pursuing a PhD, Jeff worked for 22 years in health care, holding Vice-President positions for the Samaritan and PeaceHealth hospital systems in the Pacific Northwest.  Jeff has consulted with numerous health care organizations and non-profit agencies in the areas of board member development, leadership, philanthropy and strategic planning. 

Research Interests 

Jeff is interested in understanding processes and practices that allow groups and organizations to perform effectively and capably.  He is particularly interested in organizational values, and understanding how important values are performed by organizational stakeholders in daily work.  Jeff is primarily a qualitative researcher studying organizational phenomena in healthcare settings.
