Shoaib Shirazi

Shoaib received a Master of Science in Accountancy degree from San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business where he graduated as the Most Outstanding Student of his program. Before becoming a doctoral student, he worked as an audit senior in public accounting firms including the Big Four. Shoaib is a member of the California Board of Accountancy, CPA Ontario, and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also taught financial accounting and business analytics courses to undergraduate and graduate business students. Shoaib’s research interests include topics in financial accounting and auditing. Outside of his research, he enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and exploring Tucson’s outdoors.
