Student Entrepreneurship Association

The Student Entrepreneurship Association, based out of the University of Arizona's McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, is dedicated to connecting UA students from all colleges and encouraging entrepreneurial activities within and outside of the campus community.

Launched fall 2014, the club aims to draw UA students who have innovative business ideas and dreams of running their own business, regardless of their fields of study. The club's goal is to teach students the necessary skills to become successful entrepreneurs and business leaders of the future.

The club meets every Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. in McClelland Hall 126. New members are always welcome and food is usually provided. For more information, check the SEA Facebook Page, drop in on the next meeting, or contact Ted McGuire, community relations coordinator.

SPARK: Ignite your innovative potential

SPARK is an exclusive co-curricular opportunity for Pre-Business sophomores interested in entrepreneurship to refine and articulate their innovative ideas, develop professionally through hands-on learning experience, understand the wide variety of entrepreneurship career possibilities and network with established innovators.

SPARK will introduce small business, corporate intrapreneurship, social innovation and new venture development concepts to sophomore Pre-Business majors. Concepts will be taught through a design-thinking framework with hands-on activities, reflection discussions, real-world experience and advice from successful and experienced guest speakers. Students in the program will be empowered to move forward in founding a business, connect with the right people and resources, understand the variety of career possibilities and know the next steps they need to take on their road to entrepreneurial success.
