User scope

 For University students, faculty and staff in courses where Oracle technologies are used and taught.

Device scope

 Primarily for state-owned devices. Students with personally-owned devices can extend institutional agreement by filling out a form in certain situations.

Use scope

 For teaching and not-for-profit academic course and degree-related research use. Not permitted for production use.

Entitlement expiration

Only active eligible students, faculty and staff may download and install software.

Students using the institutional agreement to install software on their personal computers must uninstall and destroy downloads at the conclusion of the course.

Signing up for an Oracle Academy Individual Membership Account

  1. Select "Join" on the Oracle Academy website.
  2. Create an Oracle account (or sign into existing account).
  3. Select "Register for Individual Membership."
  4. Search for and select your institution.
  5. Enter your contact information.
  6. Accept the Oracle Academy Individual Membership legal agreement.
  7. Once your application is processed, you will be notified by email to sign into the Oracle Academy website and access your benefits.
