We are home to faculty members who are respected globally as experts in their field. Both current faculty members and graduates of the department have received numerous recognitions for their accomplishments and leadership in the field.
The MIS department is unique in the world of academic because we actively pursue corporate partnerships and funding. Information Assurance and Security Education Center
Addressing the growing need for cybersecurity professionals, the center fosters curriculum development, research, professional alliances and educational outreach as it applies to areas of information and cybersecurity training and awareness.
MicroAge Lab and MIS Commons
The lab provides instructional and research support to all Eller departments and faculty, with a focus on providing access to high-end hardware and software technology and facilitating collaborative projects between the University and private industry.
National Center for Border Security and Immigration
A consortium of 14 institutions dedicated to the development of innovative technologies, processes and policies to protect national borders, foster international trade and enhance long-term understanding of immigration determinants and dynamics.
