Marketing Programs

Department of Marketing faculty publish influential papers every year, and enriches the classroom experience with the content and perspective their work reveals.

In addition to offering small class sizes and cutting-edge perspectives on marketing in a changing world, the Eller College program boasts a tight-knit community with active chapters of national student organizations including the American Marketing Association, American Advertising Federation, and the Sports Marketing Association.

The department also hosts events throughout the year, including the annual Thinking Forward Conference,  a half-day long gathering on marketing leadership and innovation, and the Lisle and Roslyn Payne Research Symposium, in which research leaders share their latest work.


Mission Statement

The Marketing Department in the Eller College of Management strives to generate influential contributions to marketing knowledge and communicate these to students in a way that regenerates this curiosity in a next generation of responsible citizens and marketing professionals. The Marketing Department is committed to achieving this mission by fostering a collaborative environment among scholars, students and marketing professionals in which intellectual curiosity about the behavioral aspects of marketing is a common focus.

Our Undergraduate Programs

 

Major in Marketing

Complete a four-year program consisting of two years of non-business and introductory business courses, followed by two years of specialization in Marketing. The marketing department is dedicated to exploring marketing phenomena affecting the business model both in and outside of the classroom

Marketing Major

Minor in Marketing

Non-BSBA students, earn a minor in Marketing in one summer.  The business and communication skills offered in the program can be utilized in a variety of careers related to the following non-business degrees. Learn about marketing analysis, advertising, digital marketing and out to perfect your elevator pitch.

Marketing Minor

Accelerated Masters Program in Marketing

The Accelerated Master’s Program in MSM in Marketing is for the top undergraduates in participating marketing majors who plan to continue in a graduate program in the same discipline. Students have the opportunity to complete graduate level courses during their senior year at the Eller College.

Master of Science in Marketing

The Master of Science in Marketing (MSM) degree at the University of Arizona offers a 12 months, 16 month or part-time program. This program enables you to bolster your management, analytical and communication skills while benefiting from the departments world-renowned faculty and cutting edge curriculum.

Master of Science in Marketing

Marketing Doctoral Program

The doctoral program in marketing prepares you for a career as a university professor, with research focus in consumer culture theory, consumer psychology or quantitative and strategical methods of marketing. Students collaborate with faculty to develop research projects develop them into active members of the academic community.
