Undergraduate Academic Support

The University of Arizona and the Eller College of Management offer several options for course resources and campus tutoring.


Eller Foundation Courses

The courses below are all Eller Foundation courses, which have academic support provided.  You are encouraged to use these support options to learn effectively in these foundational disciplines in order to be successful in applying for your Professional Major (via Professional Admission or Advance Standing) and in your upper-division coursework. 

  • The Writing Center offers free online tutoring (via Zoom and Feedback Loop). You can have 2 free appointments per day.
  • The Writing Center offers fee-based appointments to provide more intensive support.  These fee-based appointments at $50 per hour and billed to your Bursar's account.
  • You are strongly encouraged to visit your English Professor during Office Hours, generally designated on the syllabus or D2L for your course.  This is a free opportunity to ask your professor direct questions, clarify assignment expectations and get feedback on drafts of your writing.

Professor Neumann and Professor Patton recommend the following:

  • Email askmis111@email.arizona.edu with questions.
  • Make Zoom appointments with Professors Neumann, Patton, and Sudhaus.
  • Form virtual study groups with other students in the course.

  • The THINK TANK offers drop-in online and in person math tutoring, which are free services and do not have a time limit and therefore is handled on a first come first serve basis.
  • The THINK TANK offers fee-based, private appointments to provide more intensive support.  Each private online session is $35 and billed to your Bursar's Account.  You can schedule private tutoring on the THINK TANK's website.

  • THINK TANK will be offering free, drop-in tutoring for BNAD/BNAN 276. 
  • The THINK TANK offers fee-based, private appointments to provide more intensive support.  Each private online session is $35 and billed to your Bursar's Account.  You can schedule private tutoring on the THINK TANK's website.
  • There are about 10 Graduate Teaching Assistants available for tutoring and this can be found in the class syllabus. Additionally communicate with your professor in their office hours.

  • THINK TANK will be offering free, drop-in tutoring for BNAD/BNAN 277. 
  • Professors hold weekly office hours, see your course syllabus for more information.

  • THINK TANK will be offering free, drop-in tutoring for ECON 200. 
  • Professors and TAs hold weekly office hours, see more information in your syllabus and on D2L.

  • THINK TANK will be offering free, drop-in tutoring for ACCT 200.  
  • At the beginning of the semester, students can opt into the optional Accounting lab. This is strongly encouraged based on past student performance and student feedback.  Please see instructor for more information.
  • Instructors and TAs hold regular office hours that are posted in D2L.
  • The Accounting department offers a list of private tutors.

The Eller College offers several options for advising. Select the best one for your needs:

Scheduled Advising Appointments

If you have questions regarding additional courses or academic concerns, please feel free to log into eSMS below and schedule an advising appointment to meet with your specific academic advisor.

  • 30-minute academic advising and career advising appointments available to Eller students
  • New appointments are posted each Wednesday morning for the upcoming week
  • Advising appointments can be completed via phone or Zoom

Drop-In Advising

Same-day sign-up, virtual and in-person drop-in advising is available:

  • Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Students can enter the queue for virtual or in-person drop-in advising on eSMS.
