The Center for Trust Studies (CTS) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona will host a Distinguished Speaker Seminar on November 10 at 10:00 a.m. Arizona Time.
The session will feature a presentation by Pri Shah, Professor of Work & Organization at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. The title of the presentation is “How the Ties in Our Mind Influence Who We Trust.” Registration is required (registration link below).
“Someone's connections can be potent cues about their trustworthiness—even when those connections are imagined,” says Oliver Schilke, professor of management and organizations in the Eller College and CTS director. “It is therefore crucial to consider how imagined and overlooked ties jointly shape trust judgments and downstream behaviors.”
Supported by the National Science Foundation, CTS hosts a series of workshops on trust, develops teaching tools on trust, and gets students from a variety of diverse backgrounds actively engaged in trust research.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting, including a passcode to enter.
