Eller alumni Grace Eversole '19 (Marketing), Jack McCrossin '22 (Economics), and Dawson Marshall '22 (Accounting) work at Neon Logistics in Scottsdale, AZ.

Why did you choose to work for Neon Logistics?

Grace: The location is the best you can get and the management is all about pushing others to success.

Jack: I chose Neon for the start-up culture and the opportunity to grow professionally.

Dawson: I chose to work for Neon because I saw the potential in a rapidly growing company where there is a lot of room to grow personally and professionally.

Tell us about your job responsibilities and title.

Grace: Director of Business Development - I work daily on maintaining client relationships while also chasing new business.

Jack: I am a sales executive at Neon Logistics. My job entails managing customers' freight, building new relationships, pursuing business and customer satisfaction.

Dawson: Sales Executive - My role includes reaching out to potential clients and bringing them on to help support their logistics needs. This is done through a high-level of communication and service. Your day to day includes analyzing current market trends and being knowledgeable of different aspects of logistics to be able to earn new business as well as retain clients. 

What do you enjoy most about working at Neon Logistics?

Grace: I love the people and the culture! It's very easy to come into work daily.

Jack: I love the environment we work in. Everyone that works here is motivated and strives to work for the same goal and better themselves.

Dawson: I enjoy that Neon has a laid back environment and that I can come here to work hard everyday, but also am surrounded by people that makes it easy to transition to something that can helps make the day more fun or relaxed.

What is your fondest Eller memory?

Grace: Working with a group for an entire semester and the feeling of satisfaction at the end of the project.

Jack: My fondest Eller memory is the Job Fair, it was a great opportunity to meet new people and potential employers.

Dawson: My fondest memory of Eller was taking the entrepreneurship course and filming the commercial for our idea.

What advice do you have for Eller students seeking a similar career path?

Grace: Don't count out any industry or job, you never know the opportunity that you can have there!

Jack: Learning gives knowledge, knowledge gives confidence, confidence gives character and character creates a person.

Dawson: Enjoy college and find what you like and dislike, if you're someone that likes to grind and work in a high-paced environment with challenges, logistics is a great way to jump into that.
