Alison Mackie joined the Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy as a full-time lecturer in fall 2022 after 12 years of working in the private sector. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, Alison launched her career as an auditor at Deloitte. Subsequent experience includes conducting internal audits at a large oil and gas corporation, monitoring and reporting on the Navy’s regional budget while living overseas in Italy, and managing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance at the former Raytheon Missiles and Defense headquartered in Tucson, AZ. During that time, she also served as a Facilitator and Adjunct Lecturer for several financial accounting courses. Alison is a certified public accountant with an active license in the state of Arizona and earned her MBA from Washington State University.
