Julie Bularzik

Julie Bularzik leads the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship’s co-curricular venture development programs for University of Arizona students. With a background spanning grassroots organizing, retail management, corporate sustainability, and civic engagement in higher education, she brings a broad range of experience to her work supporting students as they explore entrepreneurship and develop their ideas.

Julie enjoys coaching students in entrepreneurial thinking, customer discovery, and navigating the early stages of launching projects and ventures. She has developed programs that give students opportunities to learn by doing, including bringing the Student-Made program to the University of Arizona. Her work focuses on helping students build the confidence, practical skills, and connections needed to pursue their ideas and solve real-world problems. She brings particular strengths in outreach, student support, operational efficiency, strategic planning, and program development.

Outside of the university, Julie is an active member of Tucson’s maker community and sells her own products at local pop-up markets and boutiques, giving her firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of building a small business. She believes that the power of creative ideas can lead to endless possibilities for building strong communities.
