Eller Finance Professor Competes in Excel Competition
David Brown, Brian and Clara Franke Endowed Chair in Finance and associate professor of finance in the Eller College of Management, recently placed fourth in the World Excel Championship All Star Battle which aired on ESPN8.
This competition—set up by the Financial Modeling World Cup—includes eight expert modelers that go up against one another and try to solve a task about lottery answers with the goal to answer as many questions as possible in a certain amount of time using Microsoft Excel.
The All Star Battle not only included the competition itself, but commentators and analysis as well.
