Brynn Pule '25 BSBA (Marketing) interned at Beder App in Barcelona, Spain.

If you worked on a big project during your internship, please describe what you did to help.

At my internship, we were working on a new partnership with a major European airline. My team and I
were tasked with finding roughly 1000 videos from various locations to send to them. Throughout this
process I was responsible for setting up meetings with influencers/content creators to sign contracts
with them to use their content in this new partnership. Over six-weeks I closed 12 deals with content
creators for the company.

What did you find most challenging about your internship?

I found it most challenging to organize my priorities at first. I was given little guidance from my
supervisor throughout the entire internship, which allowed me to be creative and problem solve within
the role, however at times it was hard for me to prioritize my roles. Eventually, I found a system that
worked for me, and I was able to complete tasks as needed.

What advice do you have for other students that are also considering interning abroad?

Keep an open mind! You may not love your placement or may feel scared about interning abroad, but
the challenges you’ll face will be some that will help you out significantly in the future. Be curious and
ask questions, ultimately you are there to learn from this experience, so make the most of it!

How did Eller (or your previous coursework) prepare you for your internship?

Eller has prepared me with many technical/computer skills that were very useful in my internship. I did a
lot of work in Microsoft Excel that I would have struggled with had I not taken some of my previous Eller
courses. I also felt that I was able to carry myself well and speak professionally in the office setting in
thanks to my time in BCOM314.
