Meet the Firms

Meet the Firms is a once-a-semester event put on by the School of Accountancy where accounting students get to meet professionals from approximately 25 local, regional, national and global accounting firms, industry firms and governmental entities.

Meet the Firms is a great way for students to personally meet and network with professionals. Students can learn more about career opportunities, internships, externships and full-time positions being offered. After Meet the Firms, students apply for various career opportunities and if selected to interview, the first round of interviews typically take place on campus.

Accounting Club

The School of Accountancy has a student-led club: Accounting Students Association-Beta Alpha Psi. This organization provides opportunies to network with recruiters and accounting firms. All accounting master's students are encouraged to join.

Student Engagement and Career Development 

Student Engagement and Career Development supports students as they engage in experiences that expand their capacity to make an impact on authentic challenges facing businesses and communities. Their mission is to help students design and implement career plans aligned with personal strengths and values for a lifetime of opportunity and well-being. Student Engagement and Career Development offers a variety of services including Handshake, which is an online job search resource.
