The idea behind the MicroAge Lab and MIS Commons is simple: better tools and better collaborative places amplify our potential.
Because in today’s tech-forward world, students, faculty and researchers benefit immeasurably from access to the best hardware, high-end servers, managed services and software.
MicroAge Instructional Lab
This 53-seat instructional computing lab features an instructor’s workstation with multiple monitors and projectors, plus student machines equipped with standard and specialized software. The lab also features NetSupport School software to allow instructors to interact and monitor students’ experience.
This collaborative workspace can be reserved for MIS and other student groups and events. The Commons is an excellent place for students to hold small group meetings or work on projects. There are tables and cubicles with monitors as well as a portable whiteboard and two Windows-based work stations with advanced software installed.
