What We Look For

We seek ambitious professionals who recognize artificial intelligence as a powerful catalyst for business innovation and aspire to pioneer this business revolution. Our program is designed for forward-thinking individuals from diverse backgrounds who want to position themselves at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and business leadership in today's AI-driven marketplace.

Application Requirements

Admissions requirements for the MS AI for Business program include:

Prerequisite Skills and Knowledge

  • Business: If you do not have a sufficient business background, you may be required to take up to six credits of business courses. You will be informed of this requirement upon admittance.
  • Technical: Students are expected to have basic knowledge about one or more computer programming languages such as Python. Basic knowledge in linear algebra, probability and statistics is recommended. Deficiencies may be addressed through university coursework or via online learning platforms, such as Coursera, Udemy, edX and others.

To ensure seamless processing, applications are considered complete only when all materials are submitted AND reference responses are received.

*Probationary option to start the program available for those who do not have a 3.0 GPA. See below.

**We will accept unofficial versions of your school documents for initial evaluation purposes only; this does not eliminate the need for official school documents to be submitted. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent by and received by an institution or university.

A copy of the grading scale or transcript key for each school transcript must be submitted for international documents. Refer to the UA Graduate College transcript requirements for more information.

International Applicants

The Eller College welcomes the cultural experience and knowledge that international applicants add to the program. In addition to the materials listed in the Application Requirements, international applicants are required to submit the following:

  • Official TOEFL/IELTS score (this is a proof of English proficiency requirement for international applicants born in a country where English is not the official language).
  • An official transcript and an official copy of diploma(s) and/or degree certification, in the original native language and must be accompanied by an officially verified English translation issued by the university or college.
