Joe Broschak joined the Eller College of Management in 2007 after teaching as an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his PhD in Organization Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999. His areas of research include social capital, social embeddedness, dynamics of inter-organizational relationships, managerial mobility, organizational change, the evolution of labor and product markets, organizational demography, the determinants and consequences of using nonstandard workers and labor market intermediaries.
